GENERAL BASELINE TEST INFORMATION

The Peters Township athletic trainers have set baseline testing dates for the 2025-26 School Year.
Middle School and high school athletes will be tested on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, LGI Room at PTHS -- beginning June 17. The final day of summer baseline testing will be Wednesday, July 30.
Summer 2025 - Testing Days & Times
Tuesdays - 4-6pm (June 17, 24; July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29)
Wednesdays - 10am-12pm (June 18, 25; July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30)
The assessment is approximately 20-30 minutes long and is completed on the athlete's smart phone or tablet device via the Sway Medical app. Please have the Sway Medical app downloaded prior to arrival, along with a well-charged battery. Athletes will be provided an access code when they show up for testing.
GENERAL BASELINE TEST INFORMATION
The Peters Township School District requires all student-athletes to complete a concussion baseline test before trying out or practicing with a team. These tests are offered by our athletic training staff to student-athletes entering Grades 7, 9, and 11, and to athletes who did not complete a baseline test during the previous year. Baseline tests are good for two years before they must be renewed. We do not offer baseline testing for club sports or other extracurricular activities.
Due to limited availability, the athletic trainers offer baseline tests to WPIAL sport athletes only. Clubs and other organizations that require baseline tests can contact the AHN Concussion Clinic at (412)-DOCTORS.
